Tribute to Our Breeders

Our website wouldn't be complete without an acknowledgement of the very generous contributions made by the breeders in our area of Southern Ontario.  Many of them do not have websites where a record of their hard work and accomplishments can be displayed but they have certainly made an impact on the breed over the last several decades both in and out of the show ring. They have been responsible for organizing clubs, clinics and events to further the interest of the Cavalier.   In typical Canadian fashion, most of these people are reserved, humble and not looking for recognition.

We are fortunate to live in this area and be the lucky recipients of the knowledge and experience of these wonderful breeders.  In some instances we have been able to obtain beautiful Cavaliers from them and we are hoping that these dogs will offer a great foundation for us.

You may recognize some of the names of people we would like to acknowledge in no particular order, including Lang and Norma Moffat of Brinklow Cavaliers, Brigida Reynolds of  Mostyn Cavaliers, Barb and Dorothy Penney, Elaine Ellis of Cavalaine, Peggy Wallace of Burbrook Cavaliers, Joan MacIntyre of Woodmere Cavaliers, Judy Weir, Abbymanor Cavaliers, Jerry and Mavis Holub, Brian and Ann Chambers of Glenorchy Cavaliers, Chris and Shelly Hodgkinson of Carver Cavaliers, Jean Tremblay of Halfmoon Cavaliers and Elaine Mitchell of Cambridge Cavaliers, Bob and Elaine Whitney of Sigma Chi Cavaliers and Pat and Harry Barrington.

We have also been fortunate in meeting new friends through our travels with our Cavaliers.  Darlene Petralia, Wes and Carol Rose and Patti Conroy from upstate New York have been very supportive and helpful to us in our endeavours and we are very grateful to them.
