Carly has
charmed us with her very Cavalier personality. She is always happy,
adventurous, mischievous yet eager to please and has proven to be a natural born showgirl. At
six months, at her first outing to a show for practice before the
Cavalier Fanciers of Southern Ontario Specialty Show, she got RWB to a 4
point win. The following week, she followed in her mother's footsteps
by getting Best Puppy in Show from Judge Rob Dix, Beewye Cavaliers, UK, at
the CFSO Specialty Show in June, 2008 and when next shown, in early August,
at the Mohawk Valley Kennel Club All Breed Show, Adirondack Circuit, New
York, received Best Puppy in Show. She continued her winning ways at
the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Canada Specialty Show and the
EastLake Cavalier Club Regional Specialty Show, being selected as Best Puppy
in Show at both under Shelagh Waters, Maibee Cavaliers, UK and Bill Moffat,
Rytonian Cavaliers, UK. Photos of Carly's wins can be seen below.
Carly's
father, AKC Ch Angel's Pride A Romanov, bred by Tanja Engels, Angel's Pride
Cavaliers, Germany, and owned by Lauren Nikaci, Truluv Cavaliers,
Pennsylvania, USA, also has a Best Puppy Show win at
the Windsor Show, UK. We are very proud of our girl Carly, who
has been the beneficiary of some of the best attributes of her sire and dam,
and look forward to an exciting future with her. |

We did our best just to keep 6 month old Carly still
for a split
second to get a nice photo. A buzzing fly didn't help. |

Thank you
Judge Rob Dix, Beewye Cavaliers, UK, who said about Carly.
"What a class! She had to be good to win. She has classical
head with large dark eyes and a soft expression. Elegant neck and well laid shoulders. Well
balanced on the move she stood and wagged and just asked to be placed. This
is one I really would have liked to take home.

Thank you
Judge Shelagh Waters, Maibee Cavaliers, UK, who had this to say about Carly.
"Typey, well presented blenheim, excellent size and shape,
very pretty head with soft gentle expression, dark eyes and black nose
pigment. Reachy neck with level topline and correctly carried tail.
Good turn of stifle, she moved soundly and freely, always keeping lovely
profile. A quality puppy and an exciting prospect." |
